About PNG to JPG
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) uses lossless compression and can retain transparent areas. JPG is often useful for photographs and apps that require JPEG uploads, but its compression can change fine edges and text.
Choose a background color in Settings when the PNG is transparent. Adjust quality and compare the downloaded image at its intended display size. JPG cannot preserve the original alpha channel, and the final size depends on the image and your settings.
