Local file processing
Units Converter processes file contents in your browser. The converter does not send your files to a conversion service. Scripts, codecs, and conversion engines download as website assets; those requests do not contain your file contents.
Browser preferences
Filename templates, preferred formats, metadata preferences, and your theme choice are saved in local storage. Clear this site’s data in your browser to remove them. File contents are not saved in local storage. Files in the queue are lost on reload.
Temporary files
Large media conversions may use browser-managed local file storage. Removing files or clearing the queue releases associated resources. After an interrupted session, clearing site data removes remaining browser-managed storage. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.
Website requests
Your browser requests pages and static assets from the host. The hosting provider may retain standard access logs, such as IP addresses and requested paths. File contents are not part of these requests. This application includes no account system, payment forms, or analytics scripts.
