Convert a file

  1. Select an input and output format, or leave them open to choose after adding files.
  2. Choose files or drag them into the converter. Conversion tools download on first use.
  3. Select a file to change its output. Open Settings for quality, size, codecs, and other available options.
  4. Select Convert. Download individual results or a ZIP of completed files.

One file, multiple outputs

Open Multiple formats, add the output formats you need, then choose a file. Each destination gets its own conversion job. You can also use Add another output in the queue, then select its format and settings.

Batch conversion

The batch converter accepts multiple files, including a mix of formats. Choose a common output and select Apply to all files, or select each file to set its destination. Selecting several outputs creates separate jobs for every compatible destination. Unavailable conversions are listed in an error message.

Each input produces separate output files. Batch conversion does not merge documents or join audio and video tracks.

ZIP archives

Compatible archives can be converted and repacked as a ZIP. Use Extract files into queue to edit members individually. Image archives can also become an animation or video; set the frame rate before converting.

Compatibility

Video and audio extraction depend on your browser’s codecs and the file’s tracks. Available outputs are checked after adding the file. Some formats have reading or writing support only. PDF and legacy DOC are not supported document conversion inputs. JSON documents must use Pandoc’s document structure.

Converting raster images to SVG does not trace vector paths. Document layout, animation, metadata, and unusual image encodings may not survive every conversion.

Loading or conversion failed

Check your connection if the tools cannot download. Use Retry loading tools when available. Large files need enough device memory and browser storage. Try a smaller file or a recent browser. An offered alternative also runs locally.

Cancel and clear

Cancel stops an active job. Cancel all also stops the rest of a batch from starting. Remove a file to release its working resources. Clear all empties the queue. Files are temporary and do not survive a page reload.

Preferences

Use the sliders button above the format selectors to set download filenames, metadata handling, and preferred output formats. Preferences and your theme choice stay in this browser. A format chosen on a conversion page takes priority over your default.
